Oak Trace Walk-A-Thon 2026- Superheroes

WELCOME TO WALK-A-THON 2026!

 Friday, September 4th - Friday, September 18th

Our primary fundraiser for the year kicks off on September 4th and culminates with our Walk-A-Thon on September 18th. This year's theme is Superheroes. If we are successful and meet our goal of $45,000, we do not have the need to do another major fundraiser. If each student raises JUST $77 we will hit our goal! 

Many of the additional opportunities our children have at Oak Trace are not funded with tax dollars or yearly book fees, but with funds raised by you - the Oak Trace family.  

Walk-A-Thon proceeds specifically benefit our teacher grant fund. This alone has a yearly operating budget of over $35,000. 

This money funds very specific things such as field trips, cultural experiences, guest visitors, as well as all of the important things our teachers need to give our children an excellent elementary school education. The grant fund allocates a set amount to EVERY teacher and administrator annually to make our children’s classrooms amazing learning environments. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE 

Each student has an individual fundraising page. This can be found by clicking the “My Account” button on Oak Trace’s Membership Toolkit page. If you have not registered your family in Membership Toolkit, please do so at this time.  Once this step is complete, the individual fundraising pages will appear.  Share these links with friends and family to start fundraising!!

TEAM COMPETITION / PRIZES

 Each grade level is working as a team! Our Walk-A-Thon committee has some awesome prizes for every child as their team reaches specific milestones during the competition! 

**Top grade and class calculated by the average raised per student to account for the varied number of students in each grade/class. Fundraising must be received by 9AM on Walk-A-Thon day, 9/18/26 to count toward the leaderboard.

**Each participating student has their own individual fundraising page.  If you have a specific student you'd like to support, please reach out to them and they can share their page.  You may also elect to donate to one of our "teams" (grade level) by clicking on the team name in the leaderboard to the right. It is not necessary to have a Membership Toolkit account to donate!**
